[1] The legislative purpose of Article 157-20 of the former Patent Act; the meaning of ¡°an invention patent other than the invention stated in both international patent application specification, scope of request or drawing and its translation submitted on the international patent application date¡± as patent invalidation grounds; and the meaning of ¡°international patent application specification and scope of request or items on the drawing¡± [2] Where the Plaintiff filed for a patent invalidation adjudication on the ground that the Defendant¡¯s patent invention (¡°CHAIR-BACK¡±) falls under Article 157-20 of the former Patent Act, which the Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board (IPTAB) dismissed, the case affirming the lower court holding that no ground of invalidation applies to said invention
