Chief Justice JO Hee-de welcomed Chairperson Elvira Azimova of the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan on November 12, 2025, to the Supreme Court. 

The Chairperson visited the Court as part of her official trip to the Constitutional Court of Korea.

Chief Justice JO and Chairperson Azimova discussed the judicial systems of Korea and Kazakhstan, as well as the societal roles of their respective courts. They also exchanged views on ways to further enhance judicial exchange and cooperation between the two countries.

Through the Court building tour that followed the meeting, Chairperson Azimova had the opportunity to learn about the operations of the Korean judicial system and the functions of the Supreme Court. Her visit will help deepen mutual understanding between the two institutions.
